Born in Bologna, now lives in Venice. She has always written poetry. She has participated with performances and visual works in many international festivals (Amsterdam, Venice, Rome, Locarno, Budapest, etc.) and has founded several journals (mgur-poesia, Veneziaundertide, etc.). She has published several books in Italy, Switzerland, and the United States, including Anticorpi, In livrea di transizione, Amrita, Tiger in the Mirror, Specchio convesso, Letters to the Nightingale, and Sul calesse di Andrea. She has translated works into Italian by Kathy Acker, James Koller, Cid Corman, Tom Raworth, Joanne Kyger, Allen Ginsberg, Anne Waldman, Coco Gordon, and Namkhai Norbu Rimpoche. Her most recent translation work is Questo istante presente by Gary Snyder, published by Jouvence in 2017.
