Caroline Tricotelle

Biography

After a degree in Literature - DUET theater, and the TTC studio in Nancy, Caroline Tricotelle moved to Hungary with G. Csetneki’s troupe. Upon returning, she co-founded the Sans-Sommeil company with Danielle Gabou in 2001, working there until 2006. In parallel, she discovered improvised music. Since then, she has explored free vocal improvisation (Phil Minton’s choir, les Harengs s’honorent). She also developed a focus on the musicality of words, which became her research material. In Paris, for a Master's in Philology, Francophone Literatures, through text readings, a development occurred in her own writing, primarily intended for the stage. Since then, she has performed solo poetry performances, collaborated in duos with improvisers, held improv nights at the uku, participated in Claire Serres’ choir, and has been teaching for ten years.
